UA Community Partner

Tucson’s Charrovida proudly announces a first of its kind collaboration with The University of Arizona’s Community & School Garden Program and our locally owned healthy “food por vida” eating restaurant located at 7109 N. Oracle Rd.

Starting immediately; a portion of all proceeds from the restaurant’s food sales will go to support school gardens throughout the region via the University of Arizona’s Community and School Garden Program. School gardens connect kids to the natural world, healthy food and the local food system. In addition to the funding support, fresh produce from Tucson-area school gardens will be featured on the menus of Charrovida based on seasonal availability. Charrovida is also committed to assist the schools in bringing positive awareness to the school garden programs and assist their efforts for long-term viability.
